Ather Energy unveils battery subscription plans
Ather Energy is about to launch its EL e-scooter platform next month, and here's the cool part: they're rolling out battery subscription plans.
Instead of paying a big chunk upfront, you'll be able to pay as you go—either through a monthly subscription or by the kilometer.
This could drop the starting price by 30-40%. As Chief Business Officer Ravneet Phokela puts it, this "battery-as-a-service" model is all about making electric scooters easier on your wallet.
Ather to more than double its retail outlets by 2025
Ather isn't stopping there—they're planning to more than double their retail outlets from 350 to over 750 by year's end.
The focus will be on reaching new cities in North India and major metros, so if you've been waiting for an Ather showroom nearby, there's a good chance one will pop up soon.
It's all part of their push to make EVs more accessible and meet growing demand.
