Maruti Suzuki introduces a BS6-compliant variant of WagonR
To meet the upcoming emission norms, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a BS6-compliant variant of its popular hatchback, the WagonR. The new model draws power from a 1.0-liter petrol engine and is offered with manual as well as automatic transmission options. As for the pocket pinch, the updated Maruti Suzuki WagonR now falls under Rs. 4.42-5.41 lakh price bracket, as against the previous price range of Rs. 4.3-5.3 lakh. At this price point, it goes up against rivals like Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago, and Datsun Go.

To recall, Maruti Suzuki WagonR sports a boxy design featuring a tall stance with a cascading grille, trapezoidal air-intakes, and 14-inch wheels. The car comes with blacked-out B-pillars, body-colored door handles, a rear window wiper, and chrome garnishing on the tailgate.
