Denza's new Z9 GT EV packs over 1,000km range
Denza's latest Z9 GT EV just dropped, offering an eye-catching 1,036km range (CLTC) that's over 400km more than the last model.
Powered by a hefty 122.5 kWh Blade battery, it comes in five trims priced from ¥269,800 ($39,100) to ¥369,800 ($53,600).
It comes with a tri-motor setup
You get two options: a single-motor RWD with 496hp or a wild tri-motor AWD packing 1,140hp, and is reported to do 0-97km/h in 2.7 seconds (0-100km/h figure not specified).
It's loaded with features like advanced driver assistance (with LiDAR), a huge touchscreen, and sleek 21-inch wheels.
There's also a new plug-in hybrid version
With these specs and tech touches, Denza is aiming straight at luxury EVs like the Porsche Taycan and Zeekr 001 in Europe.
There's also a new plug-in hybrid version: it pairs a turbo engine with three motors for serious power and doubles the electric-only range of its predecessor to 400km.
