    What's the story

    Celebrating the silver jubilee of the company's iconic superbike, Ducati 916, the Italian automaker Ducati has launched the limited-edition Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916 in India.

    The special edition model is priced at Rs. 54.90 lakh, which is Rs. 32 lakh costlier than the standard V4 model.

    Notably, the company will sell only 500 units of the anniversary model.

    Design

    Let's take a look at the bike

    Right off the bat, the Ducati Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916 features a premium sporty look with a fully faired design which will surely turn heads.

    The anniversary model gets a special Ducati livery along with titanium Akrapovic exhaust, forged-magnesium Marchesini wheels and a bunch of Ducati Performance components.

    Furthermore, the bike gets a digital instrument console and an all-LED setup for lighting.

    Engine

    Power and performance

    The special edition model shares its mechanical specifications with the Ducati Panigale V4 S. Hence, it is powered by a 1,103cc V4 engine which is capable of producing 214hp of power at 13,000rpm and 124Nm of peak torque at 10,000rpm.

    Further, the motorcycle gets a six-speed manual gearbox along with Ducati's bi-directional quick shift called DQS.

    Safety

    Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916: On the road

    On the safety front, the anniversary model comes equipped with Brembo-sourced disc brakes on the front and rear wheels along with Bosch's cornering ABS and Ducati traction control.

    For suspension duties, the motorcycle gets Ohlins package which includes fully adjustable upside-down forks on the front and a fully adjustable mono-shock suspension on the rear.

    Finally, what about pricing?

    In India, the Ducati Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916 is priced at Rs. 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most expensive Ducati V4. The anniversary edition model will be available in the country from October 2019 on special orders.
