Maruti adds 502 service touchpoints in FY26, network reaches 6,000
What's the story
Maruti Suzuki has achieved its biggest-ever service network expansion by adding 502 new touchpoints in FY 2025-26. The company's after-sales network now comprises a total of 5,926 touchpoints across some 3,000 cities and towns. This expansion includes both ARENA and NEXA workshops as well as Maruti Suzuki Sales and Service Points (MSSSP) and mobile solutions like Service-on-Wheels and Bodyshop-on-Wheels.
Growth strategy
Expanding service network in smaller towns
The latest expansion is part of Maruti Suzuki's strategy to expand its service network in smaller towns and cities. This is because access to services still plays a major role in purchasing decisions. The company's first 1,000 service touchpoints were established over 14 years after it started operations in 1983. It crossed the 5,000 mark in May 2024 and has added nearly another thousand since then.
Customer focus
Long-term goal for service network expansion
Hisashi Takeuchi, a top executive at Maruti Suzuki, has reiterated the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. He said that easy access to services and spare parts is an integral part of the ownership experience. The company continues to invest in both physical workshops and flexible service formats like doorstep support. This is all part of their long-term goal of expanding their service network by FY 2030-31.
