What's the story

Renault India is gearing up to unveil its latest concept SUV, the Bridger, on March 10. The new model will be a sub-4-meter addition to the brand's lineup, sitting alongside the Kiger. The name 'Bridger' symbolizes connection and innovation in design and markets. Teasers for the upcoming vehicle show a boxy silhouette with a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, reminiscent of traditional off-road vehicles.

Design elements

Upright stance and high bonnet line

The Renault Bridger will be less than 4 meters long but won't compromise on interior space. A teaser video has shown illuminated Renault lettering on the front fascia, similar to the international version of Renault Duster. Other exterior features include an upright stance, high bonnet line, flat body surfaces inspired by traditional off-road vehicles, and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

Engine specifications

It will be offered in petrol, hybrid, CNG, and electric

The Renault Bridger, codenamed RB3-K2 B-SUV, is expected to come with a range of powertrain options including petrol, hybrid, CNG, and electric. It is likely to feature the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine from the Renault Kiger. The unit produces 100hp and comes with a manual or CVT transmission. Once launched, it will take on Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai VENUE, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet in India.
