    Bengaluru: Ola-cabbie attacks businessman with rod in fight over AC

    An Ola cab driver in Bengaluru allegedly attacked a businessman, Keshava Reddy, with an iron rod after a fight over controlling the AC levels inside the car turned violent. The 33-year-old Hyderabadi businessman was traveling with two friends from Yeshwantpur to St. Marks Road when the incident took place. The victim registered a criminal complaint against the absconding driver Syed Arif. Know more!

    Driver explodes in a fit of rage; abuses Telugu-speakers

    One of Reddy's friends asked Arif to reduce the AC levels; he didn't hear it as he was speaking on the phone. Reddy was just about to adjust the AC control knob when Arif slapped away his hand and turned violent. Arif began abusing Telugu-speakers forcing the men to get down, but the driver emerged with an iron road to attack the passengers.

    Reddy hit viciously by Arif

    Reddy's friends managed to escape driver Arif's attack but Reddy, who fell, was severely injured by him. The driver immediately fled from the site. Reddy's friends took him to a Malleshwaram hospital. Sadashivnagar police have registered a complaint.
