Acme Solar's net profit jumps 652% this quarter

Acme Solar just pulled off a huge win this quarter—its net profit soared 652% to ₹115 crore, compared to only ₹15 crore last year.
This spike was thanks to a big revenue boost from new projects and better use of its existing plants.

Major projects and contracts secured during the quarter

During the quarter, Acme added more wind power in Gujarat and now has 378 MW total commissioned capacity for the first half.
They also landed contracts for 720 MW of new solar and storage projects and signed a deal with Tata Power for another 50 MW.
Plus, they launched a battery storage system in Rajasthan, and phased commissioning of a larger 5.1 GWh battery storage order is expected from the fourth quarter onwards.
Even with all the action, Acme's share price dipped slightly to ₹271.80 this morning.
