Amazon adds over 100 urban fulfillment centers to Amazon Now

Amazon just announced a big upgrade for its Amazon Now platform: more than 100 new urban fulfillment centers are coming soon.
This means way more stuff (think clothes, electronics, jewelry, and even furniture and musical instruments) will be available for super-fast delivery.
Amazon invests over ₹2,800cr in India
The first phase covers Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, all set to launch before Prime Day 2026.
These centers are part of an over ₹2,800 crore investment to speed up deliveries by keeping products closer to customers.
Plus, Amazon is also expanding its Ashray rest stops for delivery associates with better facilities like air-conditioned seating and charging stations.
