A CBI court has issued a nonbailable warrant for Jayesh Shah, who's been living in Hong Kong, over his alleged role in the massive ₹13,579 crore Punjab National Bank scam tied to Mehul Choksi's Gitanjali Group.
The CBI said it emailed him on March 3, 2021, and contacted him over the phone, asking him to join the investigation; a Red Corner Notice was subsequently issued against him, leading to the latest legal move on November 6.
