CPSEs to channel around 60% CSR funds under PMDDKY FY27-FY28
Business
Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) are set to roll out major Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects in select districts under the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY) during FY27 and FY28.
Each CPSE will pick at least one district and channel around 60% of its yearly CSR funds into key areas, as directed by the government.
CSR projects target 100 underperforming districts
The goal is to boost farming productivity and support sustainable practices in 100 underperforming districts, at least one from every state.
For these two years, CSR projects will focus on nutrition, sports development, and new ways to improve local livelihoods.
Notably, CPSEs increased their CSR spending by 31% in FY25, showing a real commitment to making a difference on the ground.
