Gurugram's Vetic raises $40 million to build 1-stop pet platform
Vetic, a pet care startup from Gurugram, just raised $40 million, led by Bessemer Venture Partners and others.
With this fresh funding, it is planning to open 25 new clinics in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
The big goal? To build an all-in-one platform for everything pets need: consultations, diagnostics, grooming, pharmacy, and even insurance.
Vetic runs more than 65 clinics
Started in 2022 by Gaurav Ajmera, Vetic already runs more than 65 clinics across 11 cities (including 15 emergency centers).
They offer vet-at-home visits and speedy delivery of pet products within an hour across 1,200 PIN codes.
Last year's revenue more than doubled to ₹66.6 crore, even though losses rose too.
Ajmera says the new clinics will have advanced diagnostic tools for early disease detection:
Gaurav Ajmera said, "Pet care in India remains fragmented. Pet parents often have to use separate providers for consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy, grooming, and other services. Vetic's goal is to bring these services onto a single platform,"
