Studds Accessories just wrapped up its IPO, raising ₹455.49 crore after being oversubscribed a massive 73 times—QIBs alone went in at 159.99 times the shares on offer.
Shares were priced between ₹557 and ₹585.
World's biggest helmet maker by volume
Studds, founded back in 1983, is India's top helmet maker by revenue and the world's biggest by volume.
They produce helmets under the "Studds" (for everyone) and "SMK" (premium) brands, with an annual capacity of over 9 million units, selling across India and to more than 70 countries.
Listing on November 7
Shares will hit BSE and NSE on November 7. Thanks to a ₹55 gray market premium, listing prices could land near ₹640—about 9% above issue price.
