India, Canada accelerate CEPA talks to double trade by 2030

India and Canada just agreed to speed up talks for a big trade deal (CEPA) with the aim of doubling their business together by 2030.
The decision came out of the G-7 summit, with both countries focusing on working closer in areas like tech, infrastructure, and clean energy.
India, Canada begin information security talks
Besides trade, they're kicking off talks for a General Security of Information Agreement to boost defense and security ties.
PM Modi highlighted India's push for sustainable growth and global teamwork, while Canada said it's looking forward to more collaboration.
If all goes well, both countries could see some real benefits by 2030.
