Indian stock markets stayed on a winning streak for the fourth day in a row on Wednesday, June 17.
The Nifty finished at 24,085.70 (up 0.40%) and the Sensex climbed 347.14 points to end at 77,155.62.
Midcap and smallcap stocks also did well, keeping the positive vibe going.
Capital goods jump 2.8%
Capital goods led the pack with a strong 2.8% jump, while metals, power, PSU banks, and consumer durables also saw solid gains.
Meanwhile, auto and realty stocks dipped slightly.
Over 120 companies, including Yes Bank and Polycab, hit their highest prices in a year.
Dixon Technologies popped up by 5% after getting an "Overweight" thumbs-up from JPMorgan.
Even the rupee got in on the action, ending higher for the fourth straight session at 94.53 to the dollar.
