India's Global Capability Centers exports reach $153bn FY25 projected $164bn
India's Global Capability Centers (GCCs) have seriously leveled up in the last six years.
A new Wizmatic report shows exports from these tech hubs jumped 2.4 times since FY20, reaching $153 billion in FY25, and they're expected to hit $164 billion in 2025-26.
India's GCCs workforce rises to 4.2m
GCCs now employ 4.2 million people, up from 2.3 million in FY20, which is half of the total employee count in the 10,590 IT & tech companies he tracks.
Revenue per employee is also up by 24%, showing a shift toward more high-value work.
Industry experts say AI could change how these centers operate, so companies are rethinking their strategies to keep growing and stay ahead of the curve.
There's still plenty of room for new global players to join in and for India's tech talent to shine even brighter.
