InvITs pay ₹22,769cr in FY26, total ₹91,000cr, assets ₹7.1Lcr

InvITs just gave out ₹22,769 crore to their unitholders during FY26, pushing total payouts since launch to a massive ₹91,000 crore.
The sector is clearly growing: its total managed assets jumped from ₹6.3 lakh crore in 2024-25 to ₹7.1 lakh crore by March 2026.
Plus, more people are getting interested: the number of unitholders shot up by 64% in FY26, with about two lakh new investors joining in.
InvITs raise ₹1.97Lcr equity, debt ₹3.35Lcr
InvITs also raised ₹1.97 lakh crore through equity during FY26, while industry debt stands at ₹3.35 lakh crore.
The Bharat InvITs Association says InvITs are becoming key players in funding India's infrastructure and wants even more teamwork with regulators and investors to keep the momentum going and make investing here even safer for everyone.
