Got an insurance issue that is been dragging on?
Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) is setting up Grievance Redressal Camps across 16 cities from November 13 to November 27, aiming to help people get their insurance problems sorted out faster.
These sessions are part of Grievance Resolution Month, and policyholders with pending complaints can drop by, ask questions, and learn how the whole grievance redressal process (like the Insurance Ombudsman) actually works.
Policyholders can learn Insurance Ombudsman framework
The camps will pop up in cities like Amaravati, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Pune (with exact locations coming soon).
IRDAI wants to make it easier for policyholders to get prompt resolution of their pending grievances and familiarize themselves with grievance redressal mechanisms, including the Insurance Ombudsman framework.
It is also a chance for policyholders to learn about grievance redressal mechanisms and the Insurance Ombudsman framework.
