KOEL wins HyperNext backup power deal for India AI center
KOEL just landed a big deal with HyperNext to supply backup power for a major new AI data center in India.
They'll be delivering 96 of their heavy-duty Optiprime Dual Core systems (Basically, these keep the servers running even if the main power goes out).
The goal? Help HyperNext handle the massive energy needs of modern AI and cloud tech.
India's 1st 800 VDC data center
This is set to be India's first data center using an 800 VDC power setup, which means more efficient and reliable energy for all those demanding AI tasks.
HyperNext's Group CEO called KOEL's solution "KOEL's Optiprime solution offers the scale, engineering sophistication, and proven operational performance required for our mission-critical environments," said Harsh Macwann, Group CEO, HyperNext.
Madan Patil, President- Global Powergen Business, Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited said, " As AI and cloud adoption accelerate globally, data centers require robust and resilient backup power systems that can support ever-increasing energy demands," a big step as India ramps up its digital infrastructure.
