Midjourney unveils full-body ultrasound scanner at San Francisco spa
Midjourney, known for its generative artificial intelligence (AI), is now making waves in health care.
CEO David Holz just revealed the Midjourney Scanner, a full-body ultrasound device he says beats MRI technology.
The first scanner will launch at a huge new Midjourney Spa in San Francisco, blending health tech with wellness vibes.
Midjourney plans 50,000 scanners, seeks FDA
To get scanned, you will need to partially immerse yourself in water (think spa meets science). The facility also features saunas, hot tubs, cold plunges, and a gym for an all-in-one experience.
While pricing is still under wraps, Holz shared plans to build 50,000 scanners and gradually seek Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval so the device can handle thousands of health uses over time.
This move marks a big shift for Midjourney as it branches out from AI into real-world health care solutions.
