Modi at VivaTech invites European firms, cites over $50B incentives
At VivaTech 2026 in Paris, Prime Minister Modi invited European businesses to team up with India, spotlighting the country's tech talent and over $50 billion in incentives for cutting-edge innovation.
Sharing the stage with French President Macron, Modi emphasized India's push for AI that's people-focused and accessible to all.
Over 80 Indian tech firms exhibited
India made its biggest splash yet at VivaTech, with more than 80 Indian tech companies and startups showing off cool solutions in health tech, clean technologies, AI, and mobility.
Modi highlighted digital payments, smart farming powered by AI, and women training as drone pilots.
As he put it: "Our approach is clear. Our government will enable and industry will innovate. Startups will disrupt and global partners will scale with us. Together, we will move faster than ever."
