Mukesh Ambani urges India to lead AI and energy independence

At Reliance Industries's 49th AGM, Mukesh Ambani laid out an ambitious plan for India to become a leader in artificial intelligence and energy independence.
He said these are key if India wants to become a developed nation, urging that it's time to move from just using tech to actually creating it.

Ambani spotlighted Jio Platforms's global rise, now ranked 20th in the world in terms of the velocity of innovation through patents.
Reliance also posted record numbers this year: revenue jumped nearly 10% to ₹11,75,919 crore ($124.0 billion), and exports made up almost 7% of India's total, keeping Reliance the country's top contributor to government coffers.
