PM Narendra Modi launches Viksit Bharat scheme for 3.5cr jobs
Prime Minister Modi has rolled out the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Udyog Yojana, aiming to create 3.5 crore private sector jobs by July 2027 with a massive ₹1 lakh crore investment.
The scheme, rebranded from the Employment Related Incentive Scheme in August 2025, is all about boosting job opportunities for young professionals.
First time private hires get ₹15,000
If you work in the private sector for the first time and get registered with EPFO after August 2025 (with a salary up to ₹1 lakh per month), you could get a one-time ₹15,000 incentive paid in two parts after 6 months and 1 year on the job.
Employers hiring under this scheme also get up to ₹3,000 per new employee each month.
