PSB Xchange: New digital platform for MSME loans coming in 2026

Business

A group of 12 public sector banks and Veefin Solutions is set to launch PSB Xchange, a digital lending platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), in January 2026.
The goal? Make it way easier for MSMEs to get loans—targeting ₹3 lakh crore in disbursals by 2030—by connecting them with banks and fintechs through a simple online portal.

Making finance more accessible for small businesses

Right now, only about 14-15% of MSMEs have access to formal loans.
PSB Xchange wants to change that by bringing together nearly 9,900 fintechs and 70 partners so more businesses can get affordable credit—often at interest rates below 10%.
As CEO Sorabh Dhawan put it, this could unlock huge growth potential for India's entrepreneurs.
