Quick commerce giants revise pricing to mitigate losses
Ordering snacks or essentials online? You might notice some new extra charges.
Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart are now adding small-order fees if your cart doesn't hit a minimum value—like Zepto's handling fee for orders under ₹175 or Swiggy Instamart's ₹99 minimum.
It's all part of their push to turn a profit.

These platforms dominate most of India's quick delivery scene but face tough competition and constant discount battles.

Still, profits are tricky: Blinkit reported a ₹178 crore loss in just one quarter.
