Singapore-based Aleta Planet to enter India with Visa cards
Singapore-based fintech company Aleta Planet plans to expand into India, teaming up with local partners to roll out easy-to-launch Visa debit cards.
The company wants to tap into India's massive market, especially among Indian expatriates and migrant workers, with the Middle East and Singapore as major hubs and Aleta's operations in the Middle East and its headquarters in Singapore.
Aleta Planet launches Sanrio Visa cards
Aleta Planet is launching limited-edition Sanrio Visa debit and prepaid cards (think Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll) dropping June 22 with just 9,000 up for grabs (physical and virtual).
To make some noise, they've brought on a senior director for Indian accounts in Singapore to explore partnerships in India.
Founder and Group Chairman Ryan Gwee says they're happy to partner with licensed entities in India to set up plug-and-play issuance, payment and compliance infrastructure for Visa debit cards.
"We can help them launch within days," he added.
