Tata Capital shares debut at 1% premium on BSE

Business

Tata Capital shares hit the market on Monday at ₹330, just 1% above their issue price.
This comes after the company pulled off 2025's biggest IPO, raising ₹15,511.87 crore.
The offer saw huge interest—investors applied for nearly twice as many shares as were available.

Tata Capital's impressive revenue growth

Interest came from all corners: retail investors subscribed a bit over once (1.10x), while big players like Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) and Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) showed even more excitement at 3.42x and 1.98x subscription levels.
Rajan Shinde, Research Analyst at Mehta Equities Ltd, pointed out Tata Capital's impressive revenue growth—up 33.4% in FY2024 and 55.8% in FY2025—and noted its strong brand and tech focus as key factors in its appeal to those looking for stable returns in the booming NBFC space.
