Tata Steel Q2 net profit up 18% to 3,660 cr
Tata Steel just posted an 18% jump in net profit for July through September 2026, hitting ₹3,660 crore.
This boost came from better prices and a solid 12% revenue rise to ₹64,974 crore, even as the company dealt with global challenges and pricier raw materials.
Their earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also climbed to ₹10,665 crore.
Tata Steel debt rises 1.02L cr
Tata Steel spent ₹3,280 crore this quarter on projects like expanding Neelachal Ispat Nigam.
While gross debt increased to ₹1.02 lakh crore, the company balanced it out with more than ₹10,000 crore in cash reserves.
On the global front, its Netherlands plant helped improve performance despite tough conditions in the UK market.
And heads up, the Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director and Vice Chairman Noel Naval Tata is set to retire on November 11 this year.
