TruNativ raises $30 million Series B led by OrbiMed for expansion
TruNativ, a fast-growing Indian nutrition startup, just bagged $30 million in Series B funding led by OrbiMed.
The fresh funds will help them reach more people across India, roll out new products, and set foot in Dubai and Singapore by the end of this year.
They're also looking to boost their ingredient business, which supplies nutrition solutions to other brands.
TruNativ targets 800cr-1000cr revenue
The company is going big on channels like quick commerce, retail stores, pharmacies, and direct-to-consumer sales.
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Pranav Malhotra says there's rising demand for sugar substitutes in India as more people get health-conscious about things like diabetes.
Their star product? Everyday Sweet, a zero-calorie monk fruit sugar alternative that actually tastes like sugar.
After jumping from ₹37 crore to ₹130 crore in revenue in just a year, TruNativ is now aiming for ₹800 crore to ₹1,000 crore over the next three to five years, with OrbiMed's Dr. Sunny Sharma and Sumona Chakraborty joining TruNativ's board to help make it happen.
