Uber now lets you book intercity bus tickets
Uber just rolled out a new feature letting you book intercity bus tickets right from its app, the first time Uber's tried this anywhere in the world.
Thanks to a partnership with ixigo's AbhiBus, you can now search routes, pick your seat, pay via UPI or cards, and get your ticket on email or WhatsApp.
How to book a bus on Uber
Booking is simple: open the Uber app, tap Intercity Buses, enter your destination, and choose from available options.
Your booking shows up in the app's activity hub.
Riders can avail 25% off (up to ₹200) on their first ride and 10% off (up to ₹100) on the next three.
Added features for peace of mind
Uber's added real-time location sharing, a 24/7 helpline, and trip support for peace of mind.
This move builds on their growing intercity lineup, which connects over 3,000 city-to-city car routes and includes a limited-period Intercity Motorhomes offering introduced in 2025.
