An IIT Roorkee graduate, she founded Digital Link Corporation back in 1985, and by 1994, her company hit the Nasdaq, which was pretty groundbreaking for its time.
Gupta urges gaining experience before entrepreneurship
Gupta was the only woman in her UCLA engineering class and now holds two US patents.
She's served on boards like the Indian School of Business and Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
