Vinod Khosla warns AI could end India's IT services industry
Venture capitalist Vinod Khosla thinks AI could totally change the game for India's IT services sector.
On Podcast Alpha, he said, "India's IT services industry will be gone," pointing out that AI can now handle jobs like coding and tech support.
This is a big deal for India's technology industry, expected to hit $315 billion in revenue in FY26 and employ about 5.95 million employees.

NASSCOM Vice Chairperson Srikanth Velamakanni also said AI was "compressing traditional work but expanding other areas of work."
