Wipro launches AI-Native business and platforms unit, names Nagendra Bandaru
Wipro just rolled out its AI-Native Business and Platforms unit, aiming to help companies use smarter, more autonomous AI tools.
This comes weeks after some stock market drama linked to Anthropic's Claude.
Leading the charge is Nagendra Bandaru, a Wipro veteran with nearly 30 years at the company, who will report directly to CEO Srini Pallia.
Unit bundles platforms, Suzanne Dann exits
The new unit brings together Wipro's existing platforms (think NetOxygen for lending, CROAMIS for aviation cargo, and health care tools IHS and HPS) to build advanced AI solutions for big businesses.
They are also teaming up with Wipro Ventures to spark fresh business ideas.
Meanwhile, leadership is shifting: Suzanne Dann, head of a major Americas division, has stepped down, a notable change since this area is key for Wipro's revenue.
