  • Xiaomi's camera-centric Redmi Y2 and popular Mi Smart TVs will go on sale today at 12pm.

    The Redmi Y2 (both 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants) will be available via Amazon and Mi India e-store while the Mi Smart TVs (32-inch, 43-inch, and 55-inch models) will be up for grabs on Flipkart and Mi India e-store.

  • The Redmi Y2, available in Dark Grey, Gold, and Rose Gold colors, starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant while the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model costs Rs. 12,999.

    The Mi TV 55-inch 4K model is priced at Rs. 44,999, while the 43-inch Full-HD Mi TV 4A variant costs Rs. 22,999 and the 32-inch HD model will be available at Rs. 13,999.

  • The Redmi Y2 sports a 5.99-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and full-screen gestures.

    The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card.

    The Redmi Y2 runs Android Oreo 8.1-based MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo 8.1, supports dual-SIM cards and packs a 3,080mAh battery.

    On the front, the phone gets a 16MP selfie Super Pixel sensor with features such as an LED selfie-light, AI Beautify 4.0, and Face Unlock capabilities.

    The TV is powered by an Amlogic Cortex-A53 quad-core CPU, clocked at 1.8GHz along with a Mali T-830 image processor, 2GB RAM and 8GB storage.

    For immersive sound, the TV comes with Dolby+DTS Cinema, two 8W speakers and Xiaomi's AI-powered PatchWall UI.
