    What's the story

Chartered Accountancy (CA) is one of the most sought-after and toughest professional courses.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) provides the three-level program comprising Foundation, Intermediate, and Final programs.

CA is a prestigious and respected profession. However, there are some courses candidates can pursue after CA to have an edge over others.

Here are some additional courses to pursue after CA.

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program

After CA, candidates can go for Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, offered by the CFA Institute. It is one of the most in-demand professional career options in the corporate world.

The CFA program, which can be pursued after graduation, is also divided into three levels. It focuses on finance, investment, wealth management, stock market, portfolio analysis, etc. CFA certification is valid globally.

Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA) by ICAI

After completing CA, candidates can also opt for the Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA) offered by the ICAI.

The DISA qualification can be quite beneficial for Chartered Accountants. Its main objective is to enhance qualified CAs' professional skills in the field of IT dynamics, preparing them for information systems audits, bank audits, and in the area of information security and business continuity.

The ACCA Chartered Certified Accountant program

It is awarded by the UK's Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The ACCA program involves subjects like financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, taxation, company law, audit, and assurance & financial management, etc.
