    What's the story

    The weekend is here!

This is the time when we scavenge for good films or series to watch over two days. New releases, of course, top our minds and those are also the ones that get promoted heavily by the different digital platforms.

In this light, we list the top five recently added OTT releases that you can stream this weekend.

    #1

'Dune': Streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Before the 94th Academy Awards ceremony is broadcasted on March 28, watch Dune, one of this year's Best Picture nominees.

The sci-fi film is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video in English, Hindi, Tamil Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve and backed by Legendary Pictures-Warner Bros, Dune features actors Timothée Chalamet, Jason Momoa, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, and Josh Brolin, among others.

    #2

    'Bridgerton' (Season 2): On Netflix

The second season of Netflix scorcher, Bridgerton, is finally out! The Regency-era show hit the platform on Friday (March 25).

Created by Shonda Rhimes (Grey's Anatomy fame), this edition will star Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton, Ruby Barker as Marina Thompson, Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton, Ruby Stokes as Francesca Bridgerton, Will Tilston as Gregory Bridgerton, and Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, among others.

'Bheemla Nayak': It has hit aha, Disney+ Hotstar

Those who could not watch Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati-led Bheemla Nayak in theatres can catch it now on aha and Disney+ Hotstar.

The Telugu money-churner hit both the OTT spaces on midnight of Thursday instead of Friday.

This was a last-minute decision taken by the Bheemla Nayak makers to facilitate the easy release of RRR, which hit theaters on Friday (March 25).

    #4

'Halo': Catch it on Voot Select

Based on the famed video game Halo by Xbox Game Studios, the series by the same name is streaming currently on Voot Select.

One can watch the American military science fiction television series in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.

Developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane, Halo stars Pablo Schreiber, Jen Taylor, Natascha McElhone, Yerin Ha, Bokeem Woodbine, and Shabana Azmi, among others.

'Valimai': Watch the actioner on ZEE5

Tamil actioner Valimai has now hit the OTT space, too!
