The actor confirmed that their wedding will be a simple affair, held at home with just close friends and family. "It will be a very simple registered marriage at home, with just both the families and really close friends," he told Deccan Chronicle.

After his wedding, Khan will reportedly start filming for director Rajkumar Hirani's much-anticipated sequel to the 2009 blockbuster, 3 Idiots. The film will reportedly pick up the story of Rancho, Farhan, and Raju a decade after the events of the first film. Khan has been tight-lipped about details but said, "I don't know what Raju (Hirani) has planned. But yes, all of us in the film have moved on in life."
