Ali's 'Main Vaapas Aaunga' grosses ₹18.73cr worldwide in 6 days
Imtiaz Ali's new film, Main Vaapas Aaunga, is off to a strong start, earning ₹18.73 crore globally within its first six days since release on June 12.
The movie, set during the Partition era and starring Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and Naseeruddin Shah, has managed steady box office success even with big competitors like Kangana Ranaut's Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and Manoj Bajpayee's Governor: The Silent Saviour in theaters.
'Main Vaapas Aaunga' ₹1.75cr day 6
On day six alone, Main Vaapas Aaunga saw a 6.1% jump in earnings with ₹1.75 crore from 2,056 shows across India, bringing its India net to ₹10.05 crore and gross to ₹11.98 crore.
Overseas audiences chipped in another ₹0.5 crore that day, raising the worldwide total to a solid ₹18.73 crore.
Not bad for a film facing some serious competition!
