AMMA vice president Lakshmipriya files defamation complaint against YouTubers
Malayalam actor and Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) vice president Lakshmipriya has filed a defamation complaint, saying several YouTubers targeted her with harmful content.
Kochi cyber police are looking into the case. They have already recorded her statement and she had submitted to the police 93 videos, their links and screenshots of thumbnails in a pen drive along with her complaint.

Lakshmipriya handed over 93 videos as evidence, saying some of the videos mentioned in her complaint had already been hidden.
She shared, "My fight is for all women who are being targeted by such people."
Meanwhile, things are tense within AMMA as former joint secretary Ansiba Hassan has filed a court petition against Lakshmipriya, accusing her of filing a false complaint against her, and a police officer of subjecting her to harassment and unlawful detention in the name of verifying the allegations against her.
