In an interview with Zoom/Telly Talk India, he revealed that he lost his temper when fellow contestant Farrhana Bhatt defamed the television industry. "When Farrhana Bhatt kept abusing me during our stint in the house, I never reacted to it," said Khanna. "In fact, I enjoyed it because I was not looking bad."
