Blake Lively suing Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios: Here's why
Blake Lively has taken her co-star and director Justin Baldoni, along with Wayfarer Studios, to court, accusing them of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment while filming It Ends with Us.
She also alleges that Baldoni and others orchestrated a retaliation campaign against her after she raised concerns.
What's the current status of the case?
Lively's lawsuit also calls out producer Jamey Heath and publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel for allegedly fueling negative online buzz about her.
Baldoni denied everything and fired back with massive countersuits—including one for $400 million—but all of those have been thrown out.
Lively is seeking over $160 million in damages, and the trial is scheduled to start in March 2026.
As of today, Baldoni is trying to get the case dismissed before it reaches court.
