Chaturvedi shares BTS after 'Ramayana' Sumantra scenes cut from film

Satyen Chaturvedi filmed scenes as Sumantra for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, but found out later that his role didn't make it into the final movie.

He's still grateful for the experience and even shared some behind-the-scenes photos.

The film, which hit theaters on November 5, stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash as Ravana.

'Ramayana' split prioritizes core characters

Since Ramayana is split into two parts and focuses mainly on its core characters, Satyen Chaturvedi's scenes as Sumantra were edited out.

Even with these cuts, the movie manages to capture the heart of the epic with its main cast leading the way.
