Actor Danish Pandor, who played the role of Uzair Baloch in Aditya Dhar's blockbuster film Dhurandhar, is celebrating his birthday on Monday. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, he said that the success of the film has "changed everything" for him. "So it is a special birthday," he said. "For me, spending the day with my family is the best way to celebrate."

Pandor expressed his gratitude to casting director Mukesh Chhabra for auditioning him for the role and forwarding it to Dhar. "It's very important that your director and your casting director trust you," he said. He recalled how he was called for an audition last year but didn't hear back from them until a month later, when Chhabra informed him that he had been creatively locked for the project.

Pandor shared that when he first met Dhar, the director briefly narrated his character and the film. "Aditya sir told me that you are playing Uzair Baloch's part and he's a real-life character," he said. "And then he gave me some research material." He also had to attend workshops with a dialect coach, Faiz Mohammad Khan, who helped him master the Pakistani dialect.

Pandor described his time filming Dhurandhar as a "make-or-break situation." He always tried to give his best shot, believing it was his last performance. "It's like, you know, like the fruits of hard work. I mean, being in the film industry, just trying to make a mark for 15 years, and one and a half years of journey for this beautiful project," he said.

Pandor shared that most of his scenes were with Akshaye Khanna and Ranveer Singh. "You get an opportunity to prove yourself. Obviously, in the beginning, there is nervousness or palpitations...how will it go?" "But I was so confident that if I do my homework well, and if I am fully aware of the things, I'll be able to do it." When asked about his future projects, he concluded, "There are a couple of things lined up."
