'Dhurandhar 2' advance bookings: Ranveer Singh's actioner eyes record
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, an action-packed sequel from director Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, is already making waves before release.
Following up on the massive hit Dhurandhar, this new chapter drops March 19 with paid previews starting March 18.
It's available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, so fans across India can jump in right away.
Over ₹21 crore generated in India from premieres
Advance bookings have already crossed ₹50 crore worldwide. In India alone, over 5.43 lakh tickets have been snapped up for more than 9,000 shows, bringing in around ₹21.5 crore from March 18 premieres.
The Hindi 2D edition sold 5.03 lakh tickets from 8,980 shows at an average ticket price of about ₹408 (roughly ₹20.5 crore), while the South Indian versions are adding solid numbers too.
New preview record for Bollywood film
Dhurandhar 2 has set a new Bollywood preview record and is eyeing the highest-ever opening day collection, hoping to beat They Call Him OG's ₹21 crore paid-preview mark.
In the US it reported pre-sales. The film is aiming high: a ₹100 crore net collection on day one and a global gross between ₹1,000-2,000 crore isn't out of reach if this momentum keeps up.
Book your tickets now if you want to catch it!
If you love big-budget action dramas or enjoyed the first Dhurandhar movie's wild ride at the box office (remember its premium pricing in some centers?), this sequel looks set to deliver even more spectacle, and maybe break a few records along the way!
