'Dostana 2': Delhi shoot called off due to pollution
Be it the residents of the city or big stars making movies, the harrowing air pollution in the capital city doesn't discriminate between anyone. Recently, in an unfortunate turn of events, the team of Karan Johar's upcoming movie Dostana 2 reportedly called off the Delhi leg of their shooting schedule due to concerns over the city's distressing air quality. Here's what went down.
Smog made it difficult to breathe, and capture quality shots
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer movie was planned to be shot in Delhi, but a thick layer of smog made it difficult for the team members to breathe properly, and capture good shots. Reportedly, the filming of the movie remains stalled until weather conditions improve in the capital.
The cast and crew could not breathe, reveals the report
"The cast and crew couldn't breathe. Visibility was so low that the camera couldn't capture the shots properly. It was a no-win situation. The team decided to disperse until the weather improves," sources close to the development told the website.
Recently, Priyanka Chopra also expressed concern over pollution in Delhi
To recall, Priyanka Chopra, who is also currently in Delhi, shooting for her upcoming Netflix film, The White Tiger, had recently shared a picture of herself, with her face covered with an anti-pollution face mask, while expressing serious concern over pollution in the national capital. The movie, also starring Rajkummar Rao, is an adaptation of the Booker prize-winning 2008 eponymous novel by Aravind Adiga.
"I can't even imagine what it's like to live here"
