In what will increase the restlessness of 'Game Of Thrones' fans, actress Emilia Clarke has said that the highly-anticipated finale of the fantasy series will take everyone by surprise.
Attending the Cannes Film Festival with the team of her upcoming film 'Solo: A Star Wars Story', Emilia said that the fight for the Iron Throne will end at a completely unexpected note.
Although Emilia herself does not know who will emerge the winner at the end, she promised that the climax will be "what none of us think it will be".
"We are currently shooting multiple endings for the last season and have no clue which one will actually be used," she said.
"It really feels like preparing to leave home. That's exciting, but it's sad and scary all at the same time," she said, rather emotionally.
The eighth and the final installment of 'Games Of Thrones' is exactly a year away from its premiere.
The anticipation levels are at an all-time high even though it will have just six episodes.
Based on George R R Martin's novels, the show also stars Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Iain Glen in pivotal roles.
