What's the story
The popular spy-action thriller, The Family Man, is returning to Amazon Prime Video for its third season on Friday. Created by Raj & DK, the show will see Manoj Bajpayee reprising his role as undercover agent Srikant Tiwari. Before the new season drops, let's take a look at the second season's ending and how it set up for what's to come.

'The Family Man 2' finale: Srikant's personal and professional struggles
In the second season, Srikant Tiwari is torn between a corporate job and his dangerous covert post. He eventually returns to his job and encounters Rajji (Samantha Ruth Prabhu). Despite successfully preventing an assassination attempt on the Indian Prime Minister and saving his daughter, Srikant's marriage continues to suffer. The season ends with a cliffhanger as Suchitra (Priya Mani) breaks down in front of Srikant, leaving viewers in suspense about the unresolved tensions in their relationship.

'The Family Man 1' recap: Srikant's double life
The first season introduced Srikant as a middle-class man leading a double life. He pretends to be an ordinary family man while secretly working for T.A.S.C., a special anti-terror unit of the NIA. The plot revolved around a major terror attack, Mission Zulfiqar, planned by ISI-backed operatives led by Moosa (Neeraj Madhav). Despite thwarting Moosa's plans, Srikant's job puts further strain on his marriage with Suchi.

'The Family Man 3' cast and characters
The Family Man 3 will show us whether Suchi actually tells Srikant about her equation with her colleague/friend Arvind, and if the pair is able to solve their issues. Teasers have so far given out no clues about Srikant's family dynamics. It will feature an ensemble cast including Nimrat Kaur, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Darshan Kumaar, Seema Biswas, Vipin Sharma, Gul Panag, Dalip Tahil, Jugal Hansraj, and Aditya Srivastava.
