Gul Panag is an Indian actress, model, and voice actress who works in the Bollywood film industry. In 1999, she was also a participant in the Miss Universe pageant where she finished in the Top 10. Panag was born on January 3, 1979, in Chandigarh and completed her education at Punjab University. During her college days, she won several national and state-level debate competitions. In 2003, Panag made her Bollywood debut with the war drama film ‘Dhoop.’ Following this, she was seen in Vikram Bhatt’s 2005 mystery thriller ‘Jurm,’ and Nagesh Kukunoor’s 2006 drama film ‘Dor.’ In 2008, she went on to appear in films like ‘Summer 2007,’ and ‘Hello.’ Her other films include ‘Straight,’ ‘Rann,’ ‘Fatso!,’ ‘Manorama Six Feet Under,’ ‘Student of the Year 2,’ and ‘Bypass Road,’ among several others. Panag has appeared in TV series like ‘Kashmeer,’ and ‘Vijay Jyoti.’ She was also seen in several web series like ‘The Family Man,’ ‘Paatal Lok,’ and ‘Rangbaaz Phirse.’ During the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, she was the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Chandigarh. Panag also runs an NGO called the Colonel Shamsher Singh Foundation and is the director at Tittar Lodge Productions Private Limited.
