Sussanne Khan is a leading Indian fashion and interior designer born on October 26, 1978. She is the former wife of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. The star couple ended their 13-year-old marriage in 2013. In 2011, Khan collaborated with fellow interior designer and renowned film producer Gauri Khan to launch The Charcoal Project foundation in Mumbai, which is the country's first interior fashion design store. In 2012, she was roped in as the first interior fashion designer for the e-commerce fashion lifestyle company called The Label Life. In 2014, Khan teamed up with the design and fashion institute Pearl Academy to launch its new campus in Mumbai. She holds an Art associate degree in interior design from Brooks College in the US. Her father is Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan; her mother, Zarine Katrak, is also an actress and interior designer. Her younger brother, Zayed Khan, is also a Bollywood actor.
