Saba Azad joins Hrithik Roshan's family for lunch: Details inside
Actor/singer/performer Saba Azad has been in the limelight ever since she was spotted on a few dinner dates with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. Now, it seems the 32-year-old is gelling with Roshan's family as well. The reason for this assumption is Azad was spotted at the Roshans' Sunday lunch in a picture that's going viral on the internet. Here's a timeline of their relationship.
Rajesh Roshan's recently posted photo sparked rumors
According to a smiling picture shared by the Dhoom 2 star's uncle, Rajesh Roshan, on Instagram, Azad is officially a part of their family! His caption said, "Happiness is always around.. especially on a Sunday, specifically at lunch time (sic)." Nearly all family members left heartwarming comments, including Roshan and Azad. While the former wrote: "You're the most fun," Azad's message read: "Bestest Sunday."
Sussanne Khan heaped praises on Azad earlier
While the rumored couple has been spotted together numerous times in Mumbai, hand-in-hand, joining a family lunch is surely emboldening the dating rumors. As per the aforementioned picture, apart from the duo, Roshan's mother Pinkie and his two sons—Hrehaan and Hridaan—were present at the lunch. Separately, Roshan's ex-wife, fashion/interior designer Sussanne Khan, heaped praises on Azad after attending her musical show earlier this month.
Apparently, the duo's first meeting was to discuss work
To take you through the timeline of their rumored courtship, the couple was first spotted dining out in late January this year. Although this sparked the speculations, a source told India Today they had initially met to discuss work over dinner. "Hrithik and Saba first met each other through a common friend, who is into Indie music," and they "stayed in touch" after that.
Azad is part of electro-funk duo Madboy/Mink with Imaad Shah
Meanwhile, on the work front, Azad recently starred in the SonyLIV series, Rocket Boys (2022). A theater artist, she is also part of the Mumbai-based electro-funk duo Madboy/Mink along with Imaad Shah, the son of actor Naseeruddin Shah. Notably, Azad and Imaad were reported to have been in a live-in relationship for seven years. But none of the two actors ever commented on this.
